I no longer teach middle school health......I am going from teaching about cramps to why not to pee your pants......yep, they've moved me down to elementary (K-4). The quartermidget racing is going full-force again. This weekend (9/ the boys will be displaying their cars at a local dirt track, New Egypt Speedway. The 11 year old still has his engine in the shop for the next couple of weeks but we've been given a 'loaner' engine for free and the 12 and 1/2 year old has finally had his car completely looked over by some of the 'older' members of the club. And just to show "how bad we've got it"...this is my son's set up of cars, getting ready to race his own version of the Brickyard -- he does qualifying and a race every week. He is in the process of trying to collect all of the cars from next year's teams so that he can do an "accurate" race.



This is my 11 year old in his racing uniform.........he cuts quite a nice figure here, doesn't he?
