ABOUT ME

Introduction I am FINALLY a published author!!!! the book can be found at www.publishamerica.com The blurb: Cassie's Race Liane Cross Widowed the year before, Cassie Wilson tries to find solace in the one thing that she shared with her husband that gave her joy—auto racing. She soon finds herself involved with one of the sport’s top drivers, Dirk Alan Fuhrman, III, better known as Trey to his fans. An accidental meeting brings the two of them together in a whirlwind weekend of racing, leaving them both wanting more. Trey refuses to allow her to get away from him, even flying unexpectedly to her home in New York. Tumult soon arrives, as reporter Emily Preston decides to publish a vicious false story concerning the couple and how they met, leading to the one thing Cassie mistrusts about him—this woman. The excitement heightens as the last race approaches, but Trey’s mind is elsewhere as he plans for the biggest day of their lives. Have to make an update to this folks.......the more things change..... I no longer teach middle school health......I am going from teaching about cramps to why not to pee your pants......yep, they've moved me down to elementary (K-4). The quartermidget racing is going full-force again. This weekend (9/smiley the boys will be displaying their cars at a local dirt track, New Egypt Speedway. The 11 year old still has his engine in the shop for the next couple of weeks but we've been given a 'loaner' engine for free and the 12 and 1/2 year old has finally had his car completely looked over by some of the 'older' members of the club. A picture of each.... Travis Trevor These are some of my own shots from Cup/Busch racing..... From the Dover Spring Race '06 All-Star Race '06 (I like that you can see the reflective quality of the cars) Darlington '07

Junior, as owner, Dover September '06

My hobbies NASCAR, writing (my first novel has been published!!), photography

And just to show "how bad we've got it"...this is my son's set up of cars, getting ready to race his own version of the Brickyard -- he does qualifying and a race every week. He is in the process of trying to collect all of the cars from next year's teams so that he can do an "accurate" race.

This is my 11 year old in his racing uniform.........he cuts quite a nice figure here, doesn't he?

Plainsboro's Soni wins gold medal in 200 breaststroke

BEIJING -- She was never promised a thing, but she pulled herself out of bed each morning and dove into the pool anyway. She would swim fast -- faster than she had the morning before, but nobody noticed.

Olympic Report: N.J. Swimmer, Rebecca Soni wins gold

When Rebecca Soni churned through the water for all those years, logging lap after lap, she swam because that's what swimmers did. She loved it and that was reason enough.

The quiet, shy kid, who honed her skills at the Scarlet Aquatic Club in Piscataway, never imagined anything else, especially not these past few unforgettable days with the world watching and especially not this moment.

Three days after Soni picked up her first Olympic hardware, the Jersey girl had the swim of her life Friday in a gold-medal performance that had people scrambling to find Plainsboro on a map.

Soni had a stunning 200-meter breaststroke victory in a world-record time of 2 minutes, 20.22 seconds, edging nemesis Leisel Jones of Australia. When it was over, the 21-year-old Soni let out a celebratory scream, raised her right hand in victory and took a few deep breaths of relief.

I don't get involved in drama. I don't go to the message boards. I just try to go check out pages every so often and if I leave a comment then get one back I had some fun!

I am trying to think out my friends list a bit so it's easier to stop by pages and leave comments more often.

I hope to hear from you more often! Don't let the dramarama get ya girl!
