ABOUT ME

Introduction
I knew a racetrack before I knew a school yard and we were the spectators. I learned to sleep on the bleachers listening to the roar of the engines and smellin rubber and fuel. We live near a 1/2 mile now paved track that and that’s where I grew up. As I got older I, of course, tried to rebel and deny my roots but no matter which way I went my true colors came out. Finally, I blew my lid! I was tired of being the damn ‘BABYSITTER’! I wanted back at the track! My family always had tickets to various NASCAR races but I was the one to watch the kids, HAHA, well – NO MORE! I bought my own tickets from them, they had to find a new sitter and I never looked back! Now I’ve been fortunate enough to go from that 1/2 mile track to many tracks and even getting HOT passes at Martinsville Speedway! (Yes, another short track LOL!) Goodyear gave us the chance of a lifetime to take photos with the winner of the race!! Just over half way – the rain came pouring down! YES, JR’s in the lead! LET IT RAIN!! I had forgotten the date! It was April 1st! Damn, APRIL FOOLS – rain stopped, track dried and Jimmie won the race! I still LOVED every minute of it! I was sprayed with champagne from head to toe! (NOTE TO SELF: next time – don’t wear white shirt.) I just hope next time - its JR to the checkered flag! If it wasn’t for my brother, Ken – I would never have had this moment and I love him for that! Well, that’s just a little about me. Now, Lets go racing!!

My hobbies NASCAR Horseback riding Pyrography & Power Tools And most importantly – spending time with my family – luckily they like racing too. I have 7 & 4 year olds that all ready want to drive!
