ABOUT ME

Introduction I am a Sargent in the US Air Force and currently stationed in Germany but my hometown is Athens Pennsylvania about 30 to 40 min away from Watkins Glen, a couple of hours from Pocano, and 5 hours from Dover. I'm married and have a great life. When I was little I set 2 goals for my life. One was to race cars and the other was to be in the US Air Force. Well I have done both. I grew up with racing. I went to my 1st NASCAR race in August of 1989 @ Watkins Glen. I wasnt really a fan of anyone at that time but then I was only 12. I did know that the Bodine Brothers were from 5 min away from my house and they actually became my very 1st heros. Especially Geoff and Todd. A few years later there was this racing show called Thursday Night Thunder. I would sit in front of the tv and not move untill the races were all over. That is where I first became a fan of Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart. Then Jeff moved up into NASCAR and I became a HUGE Jeff Godon fan. I found out that he & I have the same Birthday, only he's 6 years older. I have been a fan of his ever since. In 1995-1996 I was able to have my owne race cars. I ran on dirt 1/4 mile ovals in northern Pennsylvania. I LOVED IT!! I joined the US Air Force in August of 1996 and had to stop racing. Then in June of 1997 I got married to my high school sweetheart who was a Dale Jr. fan. In 1999 our daughter Tiffanie was born and at one month old we had her to her 1st race @ Dover Downs. I was stationed at Dover Air Force Base at the time. Now Tiffanie is 9 and my house is a blast on race day. I like Kasey Kahne & Jeff Gordon and lately Dale Jr., thanks to the wife. My wife likes Dale Jr and our daughter is a Jeff Gordon fan. We all used to root for Tony Stewart untill Gibbs Racing moved to Toyotas. YUCK!! When I was stationed in Dover I never missed a race and I was there from 1996 to 2001. I got to meet every driver and was able to get most of their autographs. it was awesome. I was even able to land a job with the company that worked security for the races and got to work on Pit Road. Racing is in my blood. I live it, breath it, LOVE it and cant wait until I get to do it again. My wife says I even do it in my sleep from time to time.
