ABOUT ME

Introduction I started following Nascar after watching Dale Jr. win the Daytona 500 in 2004. I was in a pool and he was one of the three drivers that I had and with him winning, I won the pool. I wanted to know more about the history of Nascar and brought a couple of books to read and learn more about the sport and the history of it all and have become a huge fan and wished that I was watching and following Nascar in the early days.
I'm a Chicago Firefighter with twenty plus years on the job and there are a few other guys that I work with that are Nascar fans and a few other Nascar fans that I work with at American Airlines at O'Hare Airport. I have always hoped that American Airlines would sponser a race at Texas Motor Speedway seeing that it is there hub. Living here in the city of Chicago I alway get a kick out of seeing the few cars that have any Nascar stickers on them or driver's numbers. I wonder just how many folks in the city are Nascar fans. Most of my buddies are baseball and football and basketball fans and even golfing fans. They wonder how I can watch those cars going in circles and just keep making left hand turns...!

My hobbies NASCAR and then more NASCAR! I listen to Sirius radio 128 pretty much everyday to keep up with that latest news on Nascar. I just love to watch the Nascar racing on Sundays with my son and sometimes the wife will watch a bit.
