Major NASCAR fan. I mainly cheer for Ryan Newman, Michael Waltrip, Mark Martin, Carl Edwards-David Reutimann (tie), Joe Nemechek, and Greg Biffle. (that order) I like many others, but that is the

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYA!!! RYAN NEWMAN DAYTONA 500 WINNER!!! Since Ryan won the Daytona 500 I have to put the Chipmunks version of Funkytown first since it reminds me of Ryan's win.

HOW ARE YOU DOIN? IT HAS BEEN A REALLY LONG TIME SINCE I WAS ABLE TO BE HERE. I JUST GOT HOME FROM BRISTOL A FEW DAYS AGO. HAD A BLAST. VANDY MET US AT MY FATHER-IN-LAW'S HOUSE THERE AND
STAYED A COUPLE OF DAYS. SHE IS AWESOME!!! WE HAD A BLAST. SHE AND I WENT TO THE NATIONWIDE RACE TOGETHER, AND HAD A LONG DAY AT THE TRACK. WE ALSO WENT TO THE HAULER PARADE THE DAY BEFORE.
IT WAS GREAT GETTING TO MEET HER AND SHE WAS AWESOME AS I KNEW SHE WAS. THE CUP RACE SURE WAS A DISSAPOINTMENT. I WAS NOT FUN SEEING MY DRIVER BEING MADE INTO A SANDWHICH. WE SAT RIGHT OUT OF
TURN 2 AND IT HAPPENED BETWEEN TURN 1 AND 2. IT RUINED MY NIGHT FOR SURE. PAT DIDN'T MAKE THE RACE AND SADLER DIDN'T HAVE A GREAT RUN EITHER. I WOUND UP CHEERING FOR NEWMAN WHO IS MY

It seems like forever since I have had a chance to chat
with everybody, with another trip back to the cities with my sister and her boys and getting ready for school, there are never enough hours in the day. I hope everyone is having a great summer.
Unfortunately my summer vacation ends next Monday when it is back to the classroom and to a room of excited middle schoolers. NOT. Oh well, I plan to enjoy the last few days of my summer watching
