My name is Bill, family and close friends call me Bud. Ive been a Cup fan since the mid 80's when you had to watch Cup racing on Wide World of Sports and didn't get to see every lap. When Cup
drivers came to Indy in 94 for tire testing with the excitement of a Cup race coming to Indy, I was there for all three days and practically lived on the fence to get a chance to meet the
drivers, and its still my favorite thing to do on practice and qualification days.
The 2007 season was the best season yet for me since I've had Chrissy to enjoy it with me. Chrissy was never a racing fan til staying up and watching last years 24 Hours at Daytona, as a matter
of fact she stayed up to let me know whom won. Since then we've been to 07 Brickyard Quals and watched the entire 07 Cup season together. It was a good year, and I look forward to the rest of
the seasons.... watching them with Chrissy. As a matter of fact, Chrissy surprised me this past Christmas of 07. She bought me the Simpson full size replica Denny Hamlin helmet. Its very cool
done up in the FedEx Express color scheme. Looks very good in my collection. I look forward to getting it signed by Denny in the 08 season.
Update: Chrissy and I are engaged! No date set yet, but we have talked about 4-2-11. Yes seriously!! the 4-2 represent her driver's number and the 11 for Denny. However, I doubt we'll wait that
long. Regardless of when we get married, i look forward to a life with Chrissy and our pit crew, Megan, Madison, and Grant!
Ive attended races in Indianapolis, Atlanta, Talledega, and Martinsville, but its my goal to attend every track for a rcae in my lifetime. My hot list for 2008 is Chicago, Richmond and Bristol.
My favorite drivers over the years are Richard Petty, Cale Yarborough, Rusty Wallace, Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Dale Jarrett (til he strapped on those UPS colors) Tony Stewart and of
course my fellow FedEx driver Denny Hamlin. Ive worked for FedEx since 2000, and have been a courier since 2002. When FedEx teamed up with Gibbs Racing in 2005, I was an instant FedEx Racing
fan, (regardless of the fact they put Leffler in the car) I still rooted for them, but was glad when they announced that Denny Hamlin would replace Leffler for the 2006 season. Denny is
impressive and will win a Cup championship!
My hobbies Besides watching races; Camping, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, whitewater rafting and pretty much anything outdoors and in the woods. Colts football of course... GO HORSE!!!!!!

Rough weekend for JGR. At least tony had a good finish. I read that they were testing the engines they used in all star race for next weekends race. Hope they found out what they need to know.LOL. Denny was interviewed on speed tonight and seems pretty happy with this year so far and has a lot of confidence for the rest of the year. Hope they have a better weekend next week.
