I love stock car racing, obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be here. Dale Jr. is my favorite driver, but I also like Smoke and Elliott Sadler. I'm a relatively new fan, just been watching since 2000 and went to my first race in 2003, now I am soooooo hooked. I go to 2-3 races a year, both Loudons, and one other. In 2004 I went to Bristol ~ Bristol = The Ultimate Race Trip! This October 2008 I am going to Talladega YEAH!

I love music, music, music. I listen to all sorts of stuff and have close to 300 CDs. I'd have more if I had money to burn, but these'll do. I go out with my girlfriends and sing karaoke, quite well after a few shots of tequila. I like just about every genre out there. I also love the outdoors and gardening. I have 7 gardens at my house.

I am a HUGE New England Patriots fan, have been since the 80s. I remember when Grogan was the quarterback...now that is scary. Showing my age a little bit here, but what the hell. Tedy Bruschi is my favorite Patriot...now there's a man! Great player, loves his family, and is the team's cheerleader that keeps em going. What a guy... AND WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!! wOOt!

I do small community theatre in the town I live in, just for fun. The Arts Council does two plays a year and I recently did a musical. Fun fun fun, good group of people involved with the town. I don't aspire to be an actress, so don't think I'm on here trying to get discovered. I'm too old for that chit. I just love making people smile and laugh. It's a fun hobbie.

Sure hope your week has been a good one so far, I know its only Tuesday and a lot can happen..but lets hope for the best…lol Hubby and I went to pull weeds at his Uncle’s last night, and I might have gotten into some poison ivy..gosh I hope not..I took a hot shower last night when I got home..and put lotion on the places that I had..its either poison ivy or bug bites…believe me I am hoping for bug bites. You let me look at poison and it jumps on me..havent had it for a long time, but when I get it I get it..normally it’s a trip to the Dr’s for a shot..oh well..I guess time will tell. Horrible storm last night and the lightening took out our phone system, internet and Ethernet card inside the computer..our provider took care of the phone and internet..but hubby and I had to replace the Ethernet card inside the computer…talk about a nightmare..finding one was the first task..then putting it in..thank goodness for tech support..lol But I do believe I am back up and running again. Didn’t realize so much could happen to a computer even with it being shut down..oh well cant mess with Mother Nature as they say.. Some of you have asked about the newly weds..they are doing fine..back home from their honeymoon..they said they had a gr88 time..both are back to work ..I guess you could say they are back to reality..lol Thanks for asking, also thanks for all the comments you all send my way. I will try and post some pictures when I get them ordered from the photographer. Weather held off till the wedding was over..then we had down pours. Tiffany’s parents out did themselves with the wedding and reception..everything was wonderful. The WV people that traveled to Ohio for the wedding, sure knows how to party..needless to say we shut the building down…lol Then we partied in our motel room until the manager knocked on our motel door…oops!! I guess we were making to much noise….oh well it was fun.. Sure did miss all my IP friends..but I am back…that was an interesting race on Sunday..congratulations to Kurt Busch and team. Actually the weekend I will not even be here. My Aunt is coming in sometime Tuesday from SC to spend the week, we will be leaving on Friday early afternoon heading to Ohio for our sons wedding on Saturday evening. Sure hope everyone is having a good week so far, cant believe its almost Wednesday..so far this week has went to fast…but I am sure some thinks its been a slow week so far..lol Our granddaughter is out of school for the summer, so she has been here Monday and Tuesday all day. Believe me she keeps me hopping..right now she is learning to ride her bike without training wheels, actually she started a few weeks ago, but didn’t get to practice a lot until yesterday and today. I SURVIVED THE WEEKEND..but I am glad its over…lol I really didn’t get to watch much of the race, because Ron’s family isn’t into nascar like we are..but I recorded it and might watch it later on. We had a good weekend, a lot of work for Ron and I..but his brothers and sister in laws from GA really enjoy their stay here..so I guess it was all worth it. I spent most of today trying to get our house back in order and catching up on laundry..then I had to get our Granddaughter from school..she only has three more days..her other Grandmother and I will split the weeks having her full days…it is nice for her parents not to have to worry about sitters thru the summer. Let’s remember those who are serving, those that have served and those that gave their lives for our country. I am posting early this week because our son and his fiancé will be here this weekend. I really hate to see both shows end..those are my second and third favorite show on TV..first being nascar..lol I have a very busy next two weeks..starting this weekend with our son and future daughter in law bridal shower..then the last weekend in May is my hubby’s family reunion..and its at our house…(what have I gotten myself into)lol..both his brothers live in GA and one with be staying with us and the other will be staying with their sister. Gotta survive both weekends…our youngest sons wedding is the last of June…I sure will be glad when that is over..oh well we will survive..better keep posting..take care and stop when you can..hugs to all…Connie

We are finally having a beautiful day..after the rains this morning..with the sunshine we are having some hard winds..that I don’t like. At least the sun is shining for now..lol Gotta send out a big congratulations to Kasey Kahne..he did very well last night.
