has nascar rules changed

 could someone tell me if the rule that you are not allowed to make contact such as bumping on the last lap of the race exist anymore if so then it would seem that nascar needs to look at the last lap

why would they say no bumping on the last lap if it's ok on every other lap ??

It didn't exsist at Martinsville last year, lol...this is a rule I don't know about...

 Although it's been highly discouraged, I don't believe it's ever been a written rule that bumping is illegal. now that the bumpers on the car match in heighth, I think it's better now than it used to be. Fact is, until they figure out a way to get rid if the restrictor plate, the bumping will continue.

im just reading this after the july daytona race but the bumping on last lap is only when under caution u cant push a car to finish if they run out of fule or something where there car dosent run other than that idk
