i loved the pre race show and it had me in tears almost as much as it did daryl.
especially when brooks and dunn got up there and they rolled the three out.

Was yesterday (Monday) tough for anyone else besides me? Doesn't seem like 10 years have past since that dreadful day in Daytona...
It's only been 7 years since that horrible day. 10 years ago was one of the brightest days in his career when he won the 500.
And yes, it was a pretty tough day yesterday. On the brighter side, I went to the website of my favorite minor league baseball team, the Lakewood (NJ) Blue Claws and ordered my tickets for their April 29 game...against the Kannapolis Intimidators.

Ahhh, this man gets to me and tuggs at my heart. I was raised on Dale Sr. and he was/is always my favorite driver!!!!
Everytime I watch "Dale" I ball for the last 20 minutes of the movie.
Last night I watched the bonus disk to Dale, and I was almost in tears about a minute into it!
I can't believe it's been ten years since he won, time flies.

When me and my brother were standing in line Sunday morning at Jr.s merhcandise trailer, there was a big screen showing past clips with Sr. in it. I laid my head on my brother's shoulder and said, I miss Dale. I really do, each day, eventhough it's been 7 years, I can't believe he's no longer with us and he won't be racing on Sundays
