Re: Hmmmm

If your picture is being taken at a charity event and you paid for the event then in that case I would say yes.....because its going to a charity......

Re: Hmmmm

Sounds like said driver(s) are more than happy to take advantage of anyone who is desperate enough to want to be in their presence.

Some fans call that 'truely connecting with his fans'

Others stand back and laugh.

Re: Hmmmm

I was at a hospitality tent in Vegas and Dale Jarret came in to speak, he could not sign anything while there. If International trucks would have paid him $100.00 for each autograph, he would have signed things.

If said fan(s) are stupid enough to let said driver(s) take advantage of them then more power to them.......would you consider pit passes taking advantage cause well you pay for those and get signatures from the drivers.....just curious

I honestly think it was because of time. It was Sunday Morning before the race and I think he had several mor appearances to make. I know the PR woman was all over the place on the radio setting things up .

what amazes me is on raceday how much they try to cram in......but that's part of their job......

I agree with you on the stupid fans part. As far as the pit passes go, I don't see a problem with tracks making you pay to get up close to the cars and from what I've read, having pit passes doesn't mean you are guaranteed an autograph or that you will even spot a driver.
