Ode To A Race Season

History is made,
Another Great in the books.
Like it or not,
JJ and Chad had what it took.

We have watched our economy erode
IP relapses unfold.
Foes became friends
And past problems come to an end.

We now see traditions erased,
Speed Weeks lost, is the case.
Your Daddy's Nascar has died,
And for the children, I cry!

History was made today.
We were a part of his day,
Jeffy and Rick were there.
Where was the RJ??
Did Junyah not care?

We offered him harbor ,
When he cried no support
Now when he should've beene there,
It seems he's nowhere???

know not where 2009 will lead ,
Will IP be here, or will it deceive?
Regardless of what the future may hold,
I thank you my friends,,
For friendships of GOLD!!

It was his first season with HMS, and he dang sure improved over last year. It kisnt the driving that torques me off, its his attitude lately...
