At the start of his racing career on the short tracks of the Northwest, Greg had impressive results, including two NASCAR Winston Racing Series championships.
Biffle joined Roush Racing in 1998, and in his first year in the Craftsman Truck Series, established a rookie record with four Bud Poles and Rookie-of-the-Year honors. The next year he set a series record with nine wins. This was followed in 2000 by the Series Championship, the first for Roush Racing in any NASCAR series.
In 2001, Biffle entered the Busch Series, finishing fourth and winning Rookie-of-the-Year honors, while setting eight rookie records. In the 2002 season, he won the Busch Series Championship.
In 2003, Biffle moved to the NEXTEL Cup level, had his first win (the Daytona 400) and finished 20th. In the 2004 NEXTEL Cup Series season, Biffle took the Daytona 500 pole, won at Michigan and had a dramatic season-ending win at Homestead.
For the 2005 season, he won five of the first 15 races. Once again Greg took the final race victory at Homestead and finished second in the point standings.
In the 2006 NEXTEL Cup season, Biffle had two poles, two victories and finished 13th in the points.
For the 2007 NEXTEL Cup season, Greg secured another pole and victory at Kansas on his way to a 14th place points finish.
