Hello my friend its time for Bristol Night Racing.

Bristol is a legendary short track with a larger than life reputation.
A lot of things make it unique, the high banks, all the grandstands
surrounding the track, it sounds different than any other track. It
is just a very special place. You realize it as_&__&_soon as you step foot
in the place. You definitely know that you are at Bristol. Some tracks
you go to and it is just another intermediate track with no real
character to it.

In case you've ever wondered why Bristol Motor Speedway packs more
than 150,000 fans into a half-mile racetrack on a steamy Saturday
night in August, you only have to look at a pair of "tag, you're it"
incidents between Terry Labonte and Dale Earnhardt under the lights
to understand a little of the intensity.

In both 1995 and 1999, it was a hard-charging Earnhardt who rammed
leader Labonte's rear bumper on the final lap. In the first instance,
Labonte somehow skidded across the finish line first to win. In the
second, it was Earnhardt who wound up in Victory Lane amid a chorus
of boos, adding another chapter to his legend as the Intimidator.

And it led to one of Earnhardt's greatest post-race quotes:
"I wanted to rattle his cage."

The last time Sprint Cup visited Bristol RCR finished 1st,2nd and 3rd.
With Jeff Burton in 1st, Kevin Harvick in 2nd and Clint Bowyer in 3rd.

Have a great weekend

Hello my friend, well we are getting closer to the chase.
Here are the winners in points paying races to date.

With its wide banked turns and multiple grooves, Michigan
International Speedway has a reputation for some great
side-by-side racing. In fact, the first NASCAR event there
in 1969 resulted in a last-lap battle between Cale Yarborough
and LeeRoy Yarbrough, with Cale winning.

But that combination can also result in a lack of caution flags.
On three occasions, a Michigan race has gone the entire 400-mile
distance without a break, the most recent coming in Dale Jarrett's
dominating 1999 victory.

Hello my friend
Have a great weekend
Watkins Glen is one of only two road courses on the NASCAR Cup
schedule, and its also one of only two stops on the schedule where
drivers have to make a right hand turn,in other words they go clockwise.
The 2.45 mile racing circuit is very fast, twisting and challenging
turns all with variable banking that ranges from 6 to 10 degrees.
The frontstretch is a downhill plunge to a hard right hander,
shortly followed by a charge uphill through a series of esses
and out onto the long backstretch.

NASCAR weekend at the Glen received a double shot-Zippo Manufacturing
announced a three year extension of the Nationwide Series race, the
Zippo 200.The Sprint Cup series is now known as The Centurion Boats
at the Glen, another multi-year deal that goes through 2009.

And lets not forget the truck race on the speed channel tonight.

Hello my friend

The Allstate 400 at The Brickyard, introduced as the Brickyard 400
in 1994, is an annual 400-mile NASCAR Sprint Cup points race held
at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana. The event,
when first held in 1994, marked the first race other than the
Indianapolis 500 to be held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway
since 1916. Since the inaugural race, the Allstate 400 has become
NASCAR's most-attended event, drawing an estimated crowd of more
than 250,000 fans annually. It also has become NASCAR's second
highest paying race in dollars (behind the Daytona 500).

The term "Brickyard" is in reference to the Indianapolis Motor
Speedway's nickname. The course was paved in brick in 1909, and
they remain under the asphalt pavement to this day, with 3 feet
for the entire width of the track at the start/finish line.

Several NASCAR teams were invited to a one-day test session
at the speedway by track president Tony George in 1993, and
the inaugural Brickyard 400 was held one year later. In 1994.
Which Jeff Gordon won and Dale Earnhardt won in 1995

There are 14 races left in this 2008 Nationwide Series season,
but we could possibly know who the champion will be when the
checkered flag flies Saturday in the Kroger 200 at O'Reilly
Raceway Park.In seven of the past 11 the winner at ORP has
gone on to win the series title that same season.

While Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the most popular racetrack
in the Hoosier State, the vast majority of motorsports events
held in Indianapolis are held at O'Reilly Raceway Park,
including a NW Series race and a Craftsman Truck race.
