ABOUT ME

Introduction I'm a former full-time teacher/stay at home Mom/part time substitute teacher. I'm married and we have two boys ages 12 and 8. I've been watching racing (open wheel and stock car) since I was little with my parents and grandparents. I switched to NASCAR only when CART and IRL split since it wasn't much fun to watch anymore. I became hooked on Nascar and now only watch open wheel when the Indy 500 is on (some traditions never die!). After watching the first season of Beyond the Wheel, I became a big fan of Kevin AND DeLana Harvick! It's been great seeing Kevin and RCR on the comeback trail. I just know he will be the Nextel Cup Champion this year!! Go Kevin!!!

It was actually rather amusing. My husband and I were betting on how many laps we would run before the next caution. I was hoping to see Carl clinch the title, but I guess he will have to do it next week!

I have had a few rough weeks, but now I am soooo ready for Daytona!!! I am going to the Truck Series Race this weekend in Memphis and then on Wednesday it is off to Daytona for a nice vacation including the race....Not to mention if the race ends after midnight on Saturday night I will begin my 30th birthday celebration there. I will take tons of pics and post them when we get back. Have a great week!
