Ok, well in more detail, I am originally from New Orleans, but I now live in Maryland. Of course nowadays when I say that I get a lot of questions about Hur. Katrina.
Yes my family lost everything, most importantly my dear Dad. To sum it up my mom is trying to rebuild, my SIL is also trying to rebuild. I was born and raised there and nothing is the same where
I once lived. Every memory of my childhood home is just that.
On a not so serious note, I became a NASCAR fan while I was pregnant. Can you believe? Well neither can I. It was like pickles and ice cream for me except that it never went away. I'm the only
'fan' in my family, so I get a lot of crap from them. And being a woman doesn't help either. I really enjoyed my XMRadio with full access to the NASCAR scene, and I really hate that that is gone.
