ABOUT ME

Introduction *** *** Hi there! I've lived in Pa since 1996 but I'm from Long Island, N.Y.( I always tell everyone that I use to be an "Island Girl" and now I'm a "Valley Girl")) I've been married since 1985 and we have 2 sons.My oldest son is 22 and moved out on his own last year but has since moved back home. My younger son is 16. He is my Nascar fan. He was a Terry Labonte fan, but now that Terry has retired, he roots for Junior! Smart kid. I've been an Elvis Presley fan since 1969. I saw him in concert 3 times. The first time was at the famous Madison Square Garden concert in 1972. I had tickets to a concert on 8/22/77 but he died 6 days earlier. I still have that ticket.These days, Elvis is on the back burner. Dale Jr. came into my life! LOL!! Now I'm a diehard Dale Jr. fan. I've been a Junior fan since 2000. Earlier last year I was given the honor of being "Fan Of The Week" on www.daleearnhardt.com. That was cool! I'm also a proud member of the famous "Pitboard" for quite awhile now! I also sponsor the "Faith of the Hardt" banner. . The website for the banner is below. I'm a cook by trade and just graduated from Culinary school. I work in a 500 bed Nursing home and have to say that I just love my job.

My hobbies ***I use to collect Elvis Presley plates and I have quite a few paintings and mirror photos of Elvis. I also have all his albums and most of his movies on VHS. I'm now trying to get them all on DVD. These days I'm collecting...you got it....Dale Jr Diecast and Hoods! I also like getting his autographs. I've been lucky enough to get his autograph many times at Pocono. Every time was special moment that I'll never forget. I love going to Pocono on qualifying day. It is so fan friendly. I was right there to see Junior win his pole there in 2007. It was GREAT! I try to go to both Pocono races but from time to time, I give them up to go to other tracks. I went to Richmond for the first time in May of 2006 and saw Junior win for the 1st time in person! I've returned there 3 more times and got to see Junior race that Beautiful Elvis car. (too bad the engine blew). I was also there to see kyle spin him out. I wasn't a Happy Junior fan that day. I've also been to Dover and I finally got to BRISTOL! What a place! It left me speechless. If you are a true Nascar fan, you must go there at least once. I know I'll be returning there soon! I had a blast! I still want to go to Talladaga at least once. Years ago I use to go to a local racetrack every friday night (Islip Speedway,anyone remember it?) back in the seventies! They use to have figure 8 racing there. It was crazy. So if I'm not working, or taking care of my family, I've got my mind on Junior. My family says I have Nascar Fever 24 hours a day! LOL! Now I'm trying to get my Dale Jr. Amp/National Guard collection going. I already have a few die casts and banners. My car is all Junior'ed up and I have some new #88 clothes too! I just hope & pray that one day soon I can make a CHAMPIONSHIP Corner along with my other Dale jr. items. Time will tell!
