ABOUT ME
Introduction Hi! How is everyone? I hope y'all are enjoying the holiday season.....Much to my surprise, I'm adjusting pretty well to the season being over. Usually I mope around on Sundays with no racing but
I find that I'm looking forward to having 'free' time. I've been watching lots of movies and will be indulging in ten days of the National Rodeo Finals via ESPN and my trusty DVR......My plan is
to get some stuff I've been neglecting organized, workout more (maybe even join a small gym and have some sessions with a personal trainer to step up my exercise program), cook more and enjoy
some football. And, of course, the usual family/holiday activities......Eventually I'll get some pictures added on here.....Hey! I finally downloaded them from the camera. Making
progress......
My hobbies NASCAR, collecting Bobby Labonte, Kyle Petty and Richard Petty stuff, watching golf, college football, Tennessee * * *ans football, movies-new and old ones, baking yummy things to share with my friends and co-workers, listening to music and going to concerts-all kinds including country, rock, metal and anything else that strikes my fancy, hanging out with friends, working out, painting, collecting shot glasses (although I don't use them like I used to-they just collect dust nowadays!) I also watch too much t.v. NASCAR practice, qualifying, Tradin' Paint and the races, 24, The Shield, Rescue Me, ER, The Unit, Project Runway, Deadliest Catch, World's Dirtiest Jobs and CNBC Squawk Box-I am a business news junkie! I read Papillon recently and it is probably the best book I have ever read. Just a great story about the human spirit and the will to triumph over adversity. The movie does not do the book justice, either, as a lot of facts are incorrect in the film. I have also been reading books written by John Krakauer and a vampire series by Charlaine Harris that are quite addicting. My nephew turned me on to the Redwall series that is really good, even though it's deemed 'young reader' in the bookstore. I also read the Wall Street Journal, Forbes and Business Week.
