Introduction Born and raised in Greenville, SC...and still here! I am a fun guy, who loves Jesus Christ, Family, My Girlfriend, and racing. I have been a fan of racing since I was born, I'm pretty sure. haha. My
dad became a big race fan by about the time I was 3 years old. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, and as a small child, I picked Ricky Rudd as my favorite driver since he shared my name.
However, a few years later, I saw a white #1 car with Baby Ruth on it... I thought the candy bar car was the coolest thing in the world, and I became a Jeff Gordon fan immediately. For some reason,
that never changed. In addition to the whole enjoying NASCAR thing, I love sim-racing. I race in the DMP Cup Series: www.dmp-racing.com

This night 25 years ago I became a parent for the first time. Many of you know that feeling and can relate. My baby now lives in Fort Worth, Texas, and I don't get to see him on his birthday. My heart is a little sad, but okay. He's a responsible adult living on his own and that makes me proud. He just too far away for hugs. I was holding my new granddaughter and that takes away some of the sting. The cycle of life goes on -- speaking of cycles, circles, ovals -- I'm ready for some racin!! Can't wait for Daytona and am countin' the days. Have a great evening and stay warm. We're trying, but I think the cold is winning. Brrrrr! Hugs ~ Denise

Our son Nathan and his girlfriend (soon to be fiance') Amy came home from Texas, our daughter Brooke and Michael were also here for Christmas, and then Brooke had her baby on December 28. Michayla Lynn arrived at 6:11 pm, weighing 7 pounds 15 ounces, and 20 1/2 inches long. Mother, daddy, and baby doing very well! Michayla is beautiful and I hope to post pics soon. Just wanted to let you know that with the season ending, and the holidays upon us, I may not be on here as often as I would normally. This is my busiest time of year, and we are helping our daughter get ready for our first grandchild--a girl! Before I head to bed, just wanted to send a funny to make you smile: I got the funniest e-mail today and had to share it. Forgive me if you've seen it before, but it's fun to watch again! So this bird walks into the store . . . and steals a bag of Doritos and walks out. A seagull in Scotland has developed the habit of stealing chips from a neighborhood shop. The seagull waits until the shopkeeper isn't looking (so a camera was installed), and then walks into the store and grabs a snack-size bag of Doritos. Once outside, the bag gets ripped open and becomes a feast, for other birds! The seagull's shoplifting started early this month, when he first swooped into the store in Aberdeen, Scotland, and helped himself to a bag of chips. Since then, he's become a "regular". He always takes the same type of chips. Customers have begun paying for the seagull's stolen bags of chips, . . . because they think it's so funny! Have a great Thursday! Hugs and blessings ~ Denise

I am soo excited to see how many people have joined since the official launch and it is always fun to jump around and look at the profiles and pages. RIght now...I finally get to listen to Jr's Unresticted on XM. It was down last week and it is a hoot tonight. Glad to know Josh Snider is back in the flesh...they kill me.
