Toyota is old news, so is the 12-man Chase. The Car of Tomorrow, which made its debut last year at 16 races, is now the car for every Cup race.
But there’s plenty of high-stakes driver drama to watch in 2008. Dale Earnhardt Jr., the sport’s most popular jockey, is betting his career on his move from family-owned DEI to Hendrick Motorsports. He’s now driving with the best team in the sport and both his fans and his critics are going to cheer or boo his every move.
