Hello my friend On November 2, 2007, a change in ownership was announced. Bruton Smith, owner of Speedway Motorsports, Inc., announced their purchase of NHIS for $340 million cash. The name of the speedway changed to New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Both of its Sprint Cup dates will remain for the 2008 season. The Lenox Industrial Tools 301 is a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car race held at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire. Organizers added an extra lap starting in 2008 to signal the fact that the title sponsor, Lenox Industrial Tools, "is looking for users and suppliers of industrial tools that go the extra mile, whose jobs are physically demanding, day after day, and still find time to contribute to their communities in a meaningful way. The race has been dubbed The Extra Mile at the Magic Mile. NASCAR's Nationwide Series takes center stage at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 28 for the Camping World 200. Always a top event on the circuit. Memphis Motorsports Park will flip the switch Saturday night on enough horsepower and star power to light up the night when the track hosts the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O’Reilly 200. In a first-time promotion, Memphis Motorsports Park and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series are rewarding four lucky race fans with a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be Honorary Pit Crew Members this Saturday at the O’Reilly 200. Have a great weekend eddie
Michigan International Speedway is a two-mile, moderate-banked, D-shaped superspeedway located off U.S. Highway 12 on more than 1,400 acres [1] near Brooklyn, in the scenic Irish Hills area of southeastern Michigan. The track is used primarily for NASCAR events. It is sometimes known as a "sister track" Texas World Speedway, and was used as the basis of Auto Club Speedway. The track is currently owned by International Speedway Corporation. Michigan International Speedway is recognized as one of motorsports premier facilities because of its wide racing surface and high banking (to open-wheel standards; the 18-degree banking is modest to stock car standards). Michigan is now one of the fastest tracks in NASCAR due to its wide, sweeping corners and long straightaways; typical qualifying speeds are in excess of 190 mph and corner entry speeds easily exceed 200 mph. Opened in 2000, the 1.5-mile tri-oval Kentucky Speedway hosts four race weekends a year, including the Busch/NW Series and Craftsman Trucks. Carl Edwards became the first driver to win races at Kentucky in both series when he won the 2005 Busch Series Meijer 300. He had previously been to Victory Lane in the Truck Series in 2003. The track has become one of the top tracks for testing Sprint Cup cars, because of NASCAR's testing restrictions implemented in 2005. As a result of the new testing restrictions, teams may only test at NASCAR-authorized testing sessions at seven specific tracks on the Sprint Cup circuit. As Kentucky is not a Sprint Cup venue, private testing of such cars is permitted with no restrictions, and spectators are allowed to view testing sessions from outside of turn three. The three-year sponsorship deal for the Cool City Customs 200 will extend through 2010. The sponsorship also makes Cool City Customs the “Official Custom Bike Builder” of Michigan International Speedway. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races at MIS features some of the best racing the series has to offer. With speeds exceeding 180 mph, the NCTS has become quite a fan favorite since joining the MIS schedule in 1999. Last June, Travis Kvapil made a late-race pass of Kyle Busch to earn his second career truck win at the two-mile oval. With many Sprint Cup regulars battling the seasoned veterans, the Cool City Customs 200 will be a must-see event in 2008.
I WANT TO WISH EVERYONE A GREAT WEEK AND THANKS KARLIE FOR THIS WONDERFUL GRAPHIC YOU MADE FOR ME AND CONGRATS TO KASEY KAHNE FOR WINNING THE coca cola 600
