ABOUT ME
Introduction A little bit about me... Just finished my masters degree in nursing from PSU. I took my boards and thank God passed!!! I feel like alot of pressure has been lifted off of me. Well I found a job
as a CRNP at a rural family practice that I think will be a good start to a solid foundation. I still spend weekends playing at an inpatient rehab as an RN working with ortho to the fun filled
head injury patients. No day is ever the same thats for sure! ************************************************************************************************ HOW I GOT INVOLVED IN CUP RACING: I
went to Dover back in the late 80's with my family. Our vacations turned into going to the races because my brother was a big DW fan. At first racing didn't interest me, and I spent time alot of
time at our neighbors camper, then one year not all of our group showed, and so I went into watch the race. I think it was 1988, anyways it only took only one race, and I was hooked...and of
course Dale Sr was my favorite, which caused plenty of fights on who was best DW or Dale Sr! I was always amazed at Dale Sr's skill on the race tracks, especially the superspeedways, and his
determination also inspired me...he came up through the old school and always had my respect for that....Still miss the 3 every weekend... So far I have attended races at of course Dover,
Atlanta, Bristol, Richmond, Martinsville, and Charlotte.
My hobbies I pretty much like doing anything outdoors, along with spending time with my family, friends, and crazy animals---now just my 3 cats and 1 dog. My sweet Kacie died on July 5 of this year. My brother's lab still spends his days at my house as he did when she was still alive---they were good buddies. He is 14 yo, and she was 13. I miss her very much, but am thankful that I had her as long as I did. She was such a lovable pooch. My other interests are reading, music, PSU, and of course racing!
