ABOUT ME
Introduction Hi, My name is Richard and I'm a Dale Earnhardt fan from the Heart-0-Texas, I work in maintenance at Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas, it's probably the least stressful job I've ever had, a great place to work, beautiful surroundings, and great friends! I am married to my wife and best friend, Sue, we celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary in June, we try to attend as many races as we can and never miss one on the tube if we can't be there in person! Our dream is when we retire to travel the circuit making every race! I don't think that's too big a dream, after all dreams are what makes life worth living!!!!!! I began my love of racing at the age of about 6 years old when my Dad took me to the old Suicide Bowl dirt track that used to be located north of Lake Waco, at 13 I began going to the dirt track races at the original Heart-of-Texas Speedway in Elm Mott, Texas which is also my hometown, it later moved to it's present location on I-35 in Elm Mott. This pretty much was the beginning of my love for racing. Sue and I attended our first race together on the night before we got married at Heart-of-Texas Speedway! After the Texas World Speedway opened at College Station in the late 60's we began attending the Nascar races there, this is where I first saw Dale Earnhardt Sr. race in the early 80's an began my respect for him as a race car driver! Our son Scott lives in Falconer N.Y. with his wife and 2 boys, he is in his 2nd year racing Top Dragster class in the IHRA
My hobbies Nascar racing has got to top the list, spending quality time traveling and attending races with my wife, collecting Earnhardt memorabilia, photography, doing yardwork, actually with my new mower the more laps I turn around the yard the faster my times are! Just kicking back and relaxing!
My pride and joy, this thing will turn some pretty fast laps and heads!!!!!!

This is our latest ride, sold the Vette!
