ABOUT ME
Introduction I'm on the road every week with the Bass Pro guys, handling PR for Truex and watching that No. 1 car (hopefully) run up front. I'm married, with two crazy kids and, yes, I own a minivan.
1/19 -- Finished 20th at Daytona...off to Cali!!!
2/25 -- Long weekend in Cali, but finished 6th.
3/4 -- 15th at Vegas, not too bad. Up to 8th in points!
3/16 -- 13th at Bristol, not bad!
3/30 -- 21st at Martinsville after cutting a tire.
4/6 -- You've got smoke in the cockpit.....um, that can't be good. Finished 36th.
4/12 -- 8th at Phoenix...this weekend off!!!
4/27-- You're thru it, you're thru it....ooh, no...you're NOT thru it...finished 37th.
5/3 -- Uh oh, someone may need a police escort outta here....finished 5th.
5/10 -- Can we not catch a break?!?! Finished 14th.
5/16 -- Race weeks here in Charlotte. Supposed to be a "home" game but more busy now than usual. ESPN photo shoot with Martin on Wednesday, pit crew challenge on Thursday, Shootout qualifying tonight, Shootout tomorrow, filming two Bass Pro commercials next week....then the 600.
5/21 -- It's Wednesday before the 600 and we're at a place called Probst Farms near Lowe's Motor Speedway filming a Bass Pro commercial with martin's dad and Tony Stewart. Sounds exciting...it's not. Long day for the drivers doing take after take. I would like to post some photos but for some reason IP won't let me put them up. Can't figure out why.....help!
5/25 -- Nice restart boys....got wrecked...finished 34th
6/1 -- That's what I'm talking about! Finished 6th.
6/8 -- Long day at a long race...finished 17th
6/15 -- What's up with finishing 17th again?!?
6/29 -- Snookered 'em! 4th place!
7/5 -- templates? we don't need no stinkin' templates!...17th...it's on to Chicago
7/12 -- Finished 9th AND we have a week off!
7/27 -- Boring, dangerous race at Indy.....24th
8/12 -- 5th at The Glen...not out of the Chase yet!
8/19 -- 16th at Michigan.....on to Bristol!
8/25 -- Blown tire...finished 35th....thanks for playing.
9/1 -- Finished 19th....ho hum
9/8 -- 16th in Richmond and no Chase....can't believe it.
Sorry, it's been awhile. Not making the Chase has decreasded my desire to post By the way, we led some laps at Kansas and had a great car....then the transmission broke! aaarrrgghhh!
My hobbies Running, reading, pulling for the Carolina Panthers and the ASU Mountaineers and keeping the young'uns straight. My heroes are Richard Petty, Dale Sr., Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Tuna the coach driver, Big Sarge, Ed the pilot, Joey the pilot/spotter, the original cast of Hee Haw, anybody who works at Kentucky Fried Chicken and any man that can eat fifteen pickled eggs in one sittin'. Wait...that made me sound like a redneck. Let's try this again....My hobbies are fine wines, classical music and backpacking through Europe. By the way, if I don't accept your friend request, please don't be offended. I already have trouble getting back to all the people on my list...being on the road 3 or 4 days a week makes for a hectic schedule. If you are on my friend list, please understand that I don't also respond in a timely manner...like I said, I'm on the road a lot. Your patience is appreciated!
