ABOUT ME

Introduction
Hi Y'all
My tracks are Talladega, Atlanta, Darlington and Charlotte. Mostly Atlanta since I am about an hour south of Hampton. I would like to add more tracks. Right now I have to go where my brother and family go since they have the camper. Camping is the way I like to do a race. I like having a place to hang my hat, so to speak. Hang out a little, go to the track for practice, quals, whatever, then back to grill and hang out a little more before the next round of activities. For an old lady, I'm surprised how much energy I get at the track. The first time, I didn't think I'd be able to hang with the gang. But, you know, first time is the one that hooks you. lol The excitement is so much, I forget all about my aching feet. ": )

I like to see races up close and personal. Unfortunately, I can't see them all that way. I get to the track at least twice a year and more if possible. I live on 2 acres and enjoy gardening. Ok, sometimes, I don't enjoy as much as others, but it's the results that count. I frequent other race forums. It's wonderful to talk to people from California to New York. Home improvement is another hobby. It's the main reason I drive a truck as my main means of transportation. I don't know how I got by the first few years in my new house without the truck. And that truck IS my home when I'm at the track. lol



My second favorite hobby is working on my dollhouse.
