I HATE THE NEW FORMAT!!! it * * * *s! But here it is :
-The field will be have 24 cars
-Six teams from each manufacturer Chevrolet, Dodge Ford and Toyota
-The teams will be chosen based on the the final 2008 car owner points
-Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman cannot compete, as they will be switching from Toyota to Chevrolet and Dodge to Chevrolet
-The race distance is increased from 70 laps to 75 laps
-The race will consist of segments of 25 and 50 laps (both green flag and yellow flag laps counting)
-There will be a 10 minute intermission between segments
-Starting position will be determined by a blind draw
I don't like that one bit. Does anybody automatically get in? Can Bill Elliott be in it again, since he was a previous shootout winner? Will Junior always be in it? Tony
won't be in it, but he's won it 3 times before
