Yeah, hopefully our Missouri teams can do well this weekend. Maybe MU will have a better bowl game this year. It was like they got punished last year for winning the Big 12 game--they only got the Cotton Bowl because of the stupid BCS scheme. I didn't know what to think about the Chiefs either. They beat Denver at home, which probably means they will lose this Sunday. But who knows! It is sooo cold right now....I'm supposed to go to a Christmas lighting tomorrow and I'll be bundling up for sure. Have a great weekend! Debbie

And then oddly enough, the Chiefs manage to beat the Raiders. How did that happen??? We got snow here too; it snowed all day Saturday, but the ground was so warm it melted. By Saturday night it was starting to coat the cars and the ground a little. It snowed Sunday too and right now it looks like powdered sugar, not completely covering the grass. How was the rest of your weekend? I got my tree decorated on Friday night (with my new Nascar ornaments ). Wow, you have two trees? I'm impressed. My kitty wanted to play with the tree this weekend, he wants to get inside and climb it, I think. So far it's still standing. Have a great day; talk to you later! Debbie

I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I have my Christmas stuff out but haven't put mine up yet. I put my mom's stuff up Saturday for her, though. I think we are going to put our stuff up today since my husband is home from both jobs. I bet your blowups for the front yard are adorable. I would love to have them here but there have been so many people having problems with theirs getting ruined by people coming along and poking them or coming along and trying to steal some of their yard decorations, so I hesitate to put them out there. It was rather nice here the other day but it was cold and rainy Saturday. Then we got some sleet and snow flurries yesterday. We went to Wal-Mart Friday and got our grocery shopping done. We didn't go real early though, by the time we went the parking lot was no more full than it usually is and the only place in the store that was congested was toys and electronics. We did it that way so that we would not have to rush to get it done Saturday morning before having to drop me at my mom's and Mike having to go to work at noon. I bet your fiber optic tree will look great with the Junior ornaments. We have quite a few Junior ornaments, both in 8s and 88s, that we will put on our tree. It is about 6 1/2 feet and it is all fiber optic. I did mom's tree for her Saturday, which is pre-lit and it is an upside down tree. That is always fun to put up but it sure is different once all done up and lit. I know what you mean about it being hard to believe that it is already December and that the holiday weekend went by so fast. I saw that the Chiefs won their game, which they did better than my Rams did. That is cool that you got your trees up and done and the inside of your house decorated. I have to get some more candy canes for mine, which I might do this afternoon. I have some chocolate ones right now but want my rainbow ones and my blue ones. I have some presents bought but don't have them wrapped and under the tree because my son would be going nuts with wanting them early! LOL! When I get off tonight I will have 46 hours in and 16 more to go. I am so tired let me tell ya. Seems like I have had no sleep. I could just pass out. We got some snow the day after thanksgiving. That is nice that you got dinner at work but I am sorry that it wasn't very tasty. They are calling for it to get up to 61 here today, so that will be nice. I have to get our living room rearranged a bit this weekend so I can get our tree up. I will try to do that either Saturday or Sunday, maybe. If not, then I will do it Monday while Mike is off from both jobs. That will be cool to have one sports tree and then your other tree, too. We just put all our NASCAR ornaments on our one tree, along with our other ornaments and lights. I wish that we had a big enough house to have more than one tree. Did you see that one, and if so how does the new one compare? I don't usually go for James Bond movies either but I think Daniel Craig makes a great Bond. It really is a toss-up about who will win at Oakland. After the Chiefs lost at home to Oakland I really thought they wouldn't win a game all year. I still don't know how they beat Denver. Unfortunately there probably won't be any other games on TV when that one is on. I got to see MU and KU play several years ago at Columbia.
