ABOUT ME

Introduction I''m a big Dale Sr. and Junior fan. Dale Sr. is the reason I started watching racing in the 80's and Junior is the reason I'm still watching! I'm married and live in West Virginia. We have one son and a grandson who live in Little Rock Arkansas. We don't get to see them as often as we would like to. I come from a large family, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and lots and lots of neices and nephews! I worked at the hospital here for over 30 years, 12 as a CNA and over 18 in the billing department. Between myself, my Mom and sisters we have over 120 years of service to the hospital. I quit in December 2004, it was bought by a company that cares only for the money and not the people who helped made it what it was. So I got fed up and decided to become a kept woman! I miss work been thinking about taking some classes or finding something part time. My husband retired from the Air Force and is a member of the local VVA chapter and does a lot of volunteer work and I help the local Veterans Center doing projects for them. I also do a monthly newsletter for them. I love animals and will not harm anything! I enjoy making crafts, spending time with family and friends.My Hero's are my Dad,Mom and brother Larry who are watching over the family in Heaven.

We are having bad weather early this year, sure hope that isn’t warning us we are going to have a bad winter. So have you started your Christmas shopping, I have started..but that’s about it..just cant get in the mood for some reason this year, maybe it will hit me after Thanksgiving..its hard when you walk into a store and see Christmas decoration before Halloween was over… Have a gr88 weekend…I guess we will be watching football on Sunday…lol Sending hugs your way. Our city was not ready for it either..lots of accidents today according to the news. You would think when people sees snow on the roads and school was delayed today, they would slow down and take it easy…but NO..some keeps on traveling to fast and accidents occur…so silly!! Oh well, what can I say…other than I am ready for spring and winter isn’t here yet…lol As you can tell I am not a winter person, even tho I live in the mountains of WV… I guess I do need to admit snow is pretty on the trees…but that is about it…haha Hoping you are having a wonderful week…almost time for Thanksgiving…cant believe it…where has 2008 went…having said all the above, take care..sending hugs your way…Connie

Going to be an emotional day for Tony Stewart..but he is moving on to bigger and better things. I understand how most of the Tony fans are feeling..been there done that last year. But as some would say, things happen for a reason.. Congratulations to Johnny Benson Truck Champion, Clint Bowyer Nationwide Champion… As I said yesterday, I will be around in the off season..take care..wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year..having said all of that..bring on 2009 race season…lol Just kidding, I will be here..the above are for the ones that’s taking a break from infield parking..(cant imagine) but some will…DON’T FORGET DECEMBER 5TH IS INFIELD PARKING SECOND ANNIVERSARY…wow times flies.. We did have a good trip and very nice visit with my brother and sister in laws…hubby enjoyed spending time with his brothers. We had a great time at our son and daughter in laws last night..alot of cute little costumes.
