ABOUT ME
Introduction I am an elementary teacher, graduated from Indiana University. And even tho I teach I can't spell a thing without spellchecker...My husband and I really enjoy getting to a race as often as
possible. I can hardly wait for Jr. to win Brickyard! I am such a West Wing Fan, too! Have all 7 seasons! I have to add this little story about hubby and me. We were ready to celebrate our
anniversary Feb. 7 and this is the story that transpired. We began dating in HS and had our pic taken at a state park with beautiful background of Ohio River. Many years later I thought for our
anniversary I would surprise him with a copy of that pic in a heart shaped frame and tickets to Daytona 500. Our daughters were so excited that I was doing this that they could hardly contain
themselves. They were 8 and 10 at the time and talked me in to giving him his 'gift' the night before our actual anniversary. Ok...hubby opens the frame, sees the pic in the heart shaped frame,
tickets to Daytona...and just sits there with a curious frown on his face. Needless to say I almost started to get heartbroken, the girls were so excited..and all...neat pic..daytona tix...and
then he said to me. "Well, I guess I can give you your gift early too.".... So he gave me a box and when I opened it I nearly fainted!... Inside was a copy of the same pic in the same heartshaped
frame,,, and airline tix to daytona!...We gave each other the exact same gift! His nephew in Orlando had to be in on this too so that we didn't each actually purchase duplicate tix...He had
handled the tix for us both!.. Now after 37 years of marriage, he still reads me like an open book. Just thought I'd share this little bit of my life.

My hobbies I enjoy Nascar, of course, scrapbooking, anything in the sun too!...scrabble is fun. I am in to all kinds of music...BonJovi, esp...Sugarland but that's about it for country. Mostly listen to
contemporary christian, some classical even but not much country...did I mention that?...years ago liked the harder rock but have mellowed with age and enjoy the easier stuff now...I like S60
(even tho it's being canned), most of the Law & Order shows, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy....but my favorite is Brothers/Sisters!
