ABOUT ME

I've been a NASCAR fan since '93. Rusty Wallace is my all-time favorite driver, but Tony Stewart is my favorite active driver (Sorry Jr - lol). I pretty much like all of the drivers, especially Stewart, Bobby Labonte, Mark Martin, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Kevin Harvick, Elliott Sadler, and Jamie McMurray (In other words, I pretty much like all of the drivers except Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Robby Gordon, and Kurt Busch...) I'm also a fan of dirt track racing!

I hope to volunteer at Kyle Petty's Victory Junction Gang Camp sometime in 2008! Anyone else volunteering?

 Now that racing season has ended for yet another year, it is time to reflect and to thank God for keeping the drivers safe, providing us with some fun filled weekends of entertainment and above all to be thankful for all the friendships we have made during the season.  Ugh, It's winter here!!! We had almost 10 inches of the lovely white stuff Thursday and Friday. No School on Friday, but digging out was a nightmare. Was finally able to get moving today. I am so sore. Then turned on the nationwide race and heard temps of 83. Oh I so want to be there. Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend. Good luck to all the drivers in final two races of the season.To my northern friends, happy digging, to those of you in the south, enjoy the warmth while you can. Have a great week and take care. just wanted to bug you comments fun
 It's that time of the year I love and hate all at the same time. The beautiful fall colors as the leaves change, the cool crisp night and morning air but then comes the ugly reminders of what is to come, snow and cold and of course with the last warm rays, pesty box elder bugs all over. happy fall fall family frame friends kids
 I love this time of the year, with its pretty fall leaves, the cool night air, and the warm afternoons. The best part is today is Friday and I can get out and enjoy all of this for two whole days. How are you? It seems like forever since I have been on here. With school starting up again, my sister going into the hospital and I becoming an instant mom to her two boys, while her husband is working and then care giver for her when she got out of the hospital, there is never enough days just to sit and chat, relax. I have missed all of you very much. Thanks for all your wonderful messages. Hopefully this will be a fun and enjoyable race weekend, no hurricanes to watch out for, only the ones created by the drivers going around the tracks. Have a great race weekend and wonderful week. Back to Michigan �
Well the Nationwide Race showed that the horsepower change did not have much impact to the Toyotas
The boys made a race out of it .. At least towards the end of the race.
Carl Edwards brings Rousch back to Victory Lane in Michigan.

 It seems like forever since I have had a chance to chat with everybody, with another trip back to the cities with my sister and her boys and getting ready for school, there are never enough hours in the day. I hope everyone is having a great summer. Unfortunately my summer vacation ends next Monday when it is back to the classroom and to a room of excited middle schoolers. NOT. Well the last few laps had some extra excitement last night.
However, last night also proved that the car in the lead..
Is very hard to pass. Hope they can work on that.
There are too many cookie cutter 1 mile and a half tracks...
They need to be able to pass. In dirty air the car is a rock
Compared to the clean air. IMO

Well it's almost race time again. With all the announcements the last couple of weeks, this race should be filled with lots of interesting happenings, both on and off the track. Just a quick note to let everyone know I am back home. I was in the twin cities with my sister while her two young boys had surgery and while we were there she became quite ill and had to be taken by ambulance to one of the local hospitals. Needless to say it was a looooong week away from here and in the cities. I missed everyone. I hope everyone had a good fourth of July.
