ABOUT ME

Introduction My name is Paul King. I am a songwriter who has written with Grammy winners, Dove Award winners, and several Number One and Top Ten songwriters in the Nashville community.

I own the popular Nashville music blog NashvilleHype!

When I first started watching NASCAR years ago (4) I was a Biffle fan. I hadn't ever paid attention to NASCAR and was flipping channels - everyone came in for a pitstop and the guy said, 'he's gonna take a 1/4 lb out of the right rear tire'... what?! Like THAT would make a difference! well, you know it does. So I followed Biffle that day.

So several weeks later I was flipping channels and racing was on and this guy Jimmie Johnson was just driving the HECK out of that car... I mean on the rails! Right then and there, I was a fan. Even last weekend he was still driving that way... just drives the wheels off the car. And won the championship last year, 9 wins this year, and could be on his way to another championship. And c'mon guys, let's be serious - any guy that can marry a girl THAT beautiful can't be all that bad.

Thanks for visiting my page!

Hello race fans.
This week Cup comes to New Hampshire.
The racing is getting a little better there.
The flat track style of the track has presented itself as a challenge over the years.
I hope we see some passing there.
Have a great weekend!!

Hello race fans.
Nice to see the 38 call and the 21 running up front.
Even better the 38 car's finish.
The entire race, was hard to tell whom would end up with a top 10 finish.
On to New Hampshire, which is a lso a challenging track for most.
Have a great week!!

Hello race fans.
Sonoma Road Course next up
The Road Course race looks to be interesting.
I do believe the points will be shuffled a wee bit.
The points leader is stuck in the back of the pack with little patience to his driving style.
Robby Gordon may score another win.
Across the board the Dodges had a great qualifying day.
Here's to a good race weekend to all...

Bobby LaBonte on contract extension -
I have known all along this is where I want to finish my racing career, said Labonte.
The future is very bright for Petty Enterprises. As we continue to develop and learn
from this new car we will increase our testing and engineering support.
The investment from Boston Ventures will allow us to compete on the same level as the
bigger Sprint Cup teams.

Dover Delaware and the Monster Mile.
Well a new crop of supersatrs appears to be headed our way. Scott Speed - Red Bull wins the truck race at Dover. Joey Logano (#20 GameStop Toyota) will hit the track today in the Nationwide race. Note that both of these drivers are under Toyota. The other makes need to get their developement programs rolling. Enjoy the racing today.

Greg Biffle on the pole. Wow this guy needs a break. He has been racing much better than his results. Now that his contract seems to be complete, perhaps it will turn. Congrats also for Bill Elliott into the Atlanta Sports Hall Of Fame.

Hello race fans.
Coca Cola 600 - the endurance race for the fans. With the Indy 500 as a precursor.
Race fans this is indeed a weekend for us. Too bad they did not save a race for Monday.
A safe day to all the drivers and excitement right down to the checkers.
Based on the Nationwide Race there will be more potential for excitement than we saw in the Allstar race.
