ABOUT ME

Introduction

I own my own business - I am a professional organizer and bookkeeper. I love nothing better than to watch and/or attend races - they are my "happy place"! Lowe's is my favorite race track, but that's only because it is the track I go to the most - even for testing, and I LOVE being near Charlotte - the center of the racing universe in my book - I WILL live somewhere around there one day! Junior is my favorite driver - he's going to win the championship this year - just watch! My favorite race that I attended was the Spring Martinsville race in '06 - Jr. didn't win...but man, he showed real heart and guts with all the digging he and his team did to fight and scratch for a 4th place finish - it was breathtaking! The picture above is me in my favorite shirt at my favorite race track, next to my favorite drivers car - the only thing missing is my favorite driver!! Oh well, maybe some day! My hobbies

Racing, travel, cooking and my pets are my passions! My dream job would be to drive a motorcoach for NASCAR so I could combine all of my passions into one! I guess the pets would have to stay at home though...my Mom (a Kevin Harvick fan) would take good care of them for me!

Pretty good huh? Sure has been a pretty day today after yesterday morning..suppose to be nice again tomorrow, then chance of thunderstorms again for the weekend..oh gosh! I sure hope not like yesterday..but we cant do anything about Mother Nature.. I had a very lazy day today, not sure why other than I thought I was going to have Taya today and didn’t..she went to see her cousin that is in from Georgia..when I found out I wasn’t in the mood to do anything…so I have been just hanging out..felt good..haha At least we have a cup race this weekend..cant wait! Sure going to miss the Cup series this weekend..but at least we have the Nationwide series to watch…Brad is doing a gr88 job this year. I am sure Dale Jr is very proud of him..I know I am. Well today has seemed like a Friday to me..not sure why, but it has.. Taya and I went shopping today, believe me I spend a lot less when she isn’t with me..lol She is a shoe nut…I cant wait until she wears my size..because I want her leftovers…lol I would not even want to guess how many pairs of shoes that child has..but I know for someone that’s only 6 (7 in September) she has to many pairs..then I turn around and get her one more…lol Oh well that’s what Grandparents are suppose to do, right? Sure hope your week has been a good one so far, I know its only Tuesday and a lot can happen..but lets hope for the best…lol Hubby and I went to pull weeds at his Uncle’s last night, and I might have gotten into some poison ivy..gosh I hope not..I took a hot shower last night when I got home..and put lotion on the places that I had..its either poison ivy or bug bites…believe me I am hoping for bug bites. You let me look at poison and it jumps on me..havent had it for a long time, but when I get it I get it..normally it’s a trip to the Dr’s for a shot..oh well..I guess time will tell. I might have to do some cleaning and laundry next weekend…lol Just kiddin....sometimes the weekends seems so long when its an off weekend from racing. Oh I am sure we will find something to do…right or wrong..lol Well our Granddaughter (Taya) is home from Disneyworld..I met her and her Daddy for lunch today, then they came out here for awhile.
