STATESVILLE,
N.C. - Elliott Sadler and the No. 19 team are changing colors this
weekend in Chicago, and they won't be hard to find. The bright green of
the Insignia brand of electronics sold exclusively at Best Buy is making
its first ever appearance on the hood of the No. 19 at Chicagoland
Speedway. Sadler is hoping the vivid new colors provided by Insignia
will further his recent string of solid finishes and propel him to his
third top-10 finish in the last four races, and his fourth top-15 in the
last five.

SADLER ON RECENT MOMENTUM: "The last month has been a good stretch for
all the guys on the No. 19 team. We've put together some good racecars
and turned in some solid finishes. We could have actually been a little
better had some things gone our way, but to have two top-10s and three
top-12s in the four races is nice. I know everyone has been putting in a
lot of blood, sweat and tears working on these cars and we are starting
to see the rewards for all their efforts. We're gaining ground in the
standings as well which is great."



CREW CHIEF KEVIN BUSKIRK ON CHICAGOLAND: "The No. 9 team tire tested at
Chicagoland and we all share information. The new tire we're bringing is
faster with more grip than the old tire, but should fall off faster as
the race goes on. It'll make for better racing then we've seen in the
last couple trips to Chicago. We only visit Chicago once a year, so it's
always interesting to see what everyone has learned since last time.
We're bringing the car Elliott finished 12th with at Michigan. We're
looking forward to a good competitive race."

MICHIGAN RACE PREVIEW

STATESVILLE,
N.C. - Elliott Sadler, driver of the No. 19 Best Buy Dodge, has finished
in the top-10 in his last two starts at Michigan International Speedway
(MIS) and will be going for his third in a row at the two-mile Brooklyn,
Mich. racetrack in this weekend's LifeLock 400. In fact, Sadler has
three top-five starts in his last five races at MIS, including an
outside pole in his first ever start in a Dodge Charger for what was
then Evernham Motorsports, and now Richard Petty Motorsports.

ON MICHIGAN: "I love coming to Michigan for the race! It's one of the
most fun racetracks from a driver's perspective that we visit. It's big,
fast, wide and there is some of the best racing on the circuit. The
track has multiple grooves, so if you're car isn't working in one place
you can just move up or down the racetrack until you find a spot that
works for you.



"I've always run pretty well at Michigan and I'm hoping that continues
this weekend. I'd love to lead some laps and race up front all day. I
think with the progress that Richard Petty Motorsports has show in the
last couple weeks that we can make a strong showing in our Best Buy
Dodge and maybe race up front with some of our teammates for most of the
day."



BRETT GRIFFIN (SPOTTER) ON DOUBLE FILE RESTARTS AT MICHIGAN: "Race fans
are in for a real treat! I think we saw that last week at Pocono and
it's going to be even more intense at Michigan. The green flag at the
start of any race is always exciting - now we have a true green flag
situation on every restart. Now a driver can make up a lot of track
position on a restart if they are in the fast line. If you can see a car
- you are racing that car. And I think with the draft that happens on
the front stretch a Michigan you are going to see a lot of jockeying
coming off of turn four and it should make for some of the best racing
we've seen at any racetrack all year."

STATESVILLE,
N.C. - Elliott Sadler, driver of the No. 19 Best Buy Dodge, is
optimistic that his season is just a start or two from really hitting
its stride - and he's hoping Pocono is the place it all comes together.
The 34-year old Emporia, Va. native watched last season as teammate
Kasey Kahne dominated the field to win from the pole position and hopes
that this is his time to do the same. Sadler currently has the longest
streak of starts at Pocono without a DNF and has lead a total of 44 laps
in his 20 career starts at the "Tricky Triangle".

ON POCONO: "Pocono is one of the most interesting race tracks that we
visit. It's one of those tracks that has its own set of quirks that each
driver has to learn in order to have success. It has three corners
instead of the four that we are used to, each of the three corners is
something completely different and the engine durability is tested
because of the high RPMs we can run at a track that size. It takes a lot
of skill and a lot of luck to be good at that racetrack. I've been
fortunate to lead some laps and right now I stand as the only driver to
have zero DNFs after 20 straight starts at Pocono. Finishing every race
is something that I take great pride in, so that streak is kind of a
neat deal for me."



ON THE PROGRESS OF RICHARD PETTY MOTORSPORTS: "I think we are going to
continue to see this team make strides as the season progresses. Last
week at Dover all four RPM drivers qualified in the top-10 for the first
time this year, and Dover is a tough race track. We're starting to see
all of the Petty cars up front a lot more than we did early in the
season and we're all hitting on our setups and racing better. We've also
had some bad luck that has hurt each and every one of us and cost us
some points. Pretty soon everything is going to come together and this
team and when it does it should be impressive."
