LuvJr-88 Great point's Stang! I would love nothing more than to see Dale Jr. rally back and start producing some great racing with Win's, top 5's, etc., however, I just don't see it happening and it really kill's me to even say that about My Favorite Driver, Dale Jr.! I really thought that the move to HMS was going to be a great move, a change and we'd start to see the win's start coming, but it didn't happen when he had Tony Jr. and now, with Lance, I thought that their communication was improving, but I guess not as much as need be. So,,,would making Ray Evernham his CC make any difference? Maybe, maybe not! I still say it's a mental thing. By that, I mean that I feel that Dale has just given up mentally speaking, in his head! He's struggling with the new car and I think he tries so hard to do well for himself, his team and for the gazillion fan's that he has and when he run's poorly, he feel's that he's let everyone down! Such as the race at I believe, MIS, not quite sure, but it was very recently and he got upset with the media for throwing question's at him and blatantly said, I don't give a s++t! And maybe that's just it,,,he has reached the point that he just don't care anymore. I believe he is very disappointed in himself and that just show's week after week and he's having a hard time dealing with it! I don't think he's ready to stop being a driver and become just an owner! I still see and feel that need to drive, race and compete! But, he end's the race in disappointment and I'm sure embarressment! So, to sum up this book that I never intended on writing,,,would another change with Ray being his new CC make a difference or would he still get the same result's? I don't guess he'll know til he tries, but I don't know if he even wants to try! My heart goes out to him,,,he's under alot of pressure from oh so many different people, mainly, Himself! - S -

LuvJr-88 Well, if it was me & Richard Petty was trying to talk to me & give me some corrective criticism, I'd give him my undivided attention!! These young up & coming driver's sometime's like to think they know it all when really, they should always listen to these veteren driver's & on top of that, they need to always show RESPECT!
